How Lin died

One night Lin walked through the city streets. She was returning home from a friend's party. She didn't remember much, except that she had a fight with someone. With headphones in her ears, she returned home, somewhere around midnight. She lived in a large house near the lake with three maids and a dog. Everything was fine until one day when they found her dog suppressed in the garden. They were shocked, but they thought that he died due to illness. But they were wrong. Day after day , they found new victims. One of the maids was stabbed, one got drowned in the lake, and the third was even beaten with a frying pan. Lin was desperate. She called the police , but they didn't found any trace of the killer. One night the killer sneaked into her bedroom. For a few minutes he watched her sleep in her bed. But then Lin suddenly woke up and was faced with a killer who was holding a large and bloody knife over her head. Only in a fraction of a second she turned in the right way and narrowly avoided a sharp knife. The knife got stuck in the bedding mattress , so she had a few seconds to now storm out of the house. On the way down the hall she grabbed the keys to her car. When she had ran out and reached for the steering wheel, her car didn't want to start. Suddenly she saw the killer on the doorstep. She quickly ran towards the rowing boat, which was on the other side of the lake. When she was already there, she began to push the boat but it got stuck at the thick stone. She couldn't flee, and suddenly a sharp knife stabbed her from behind through the back to the middle area of her chest. Only in a few seconds she collapsed, half-dead, in shallow water. The killer uploaded her into the boat and took her to the middle of the lake. There he dropped her, and watched her sink. In her last seconds of life, with a little smile on her face, Lin thought of the most beautiful memories of her life, friends and family. But then she died due to bleeding and drowning.
Who killed Lin? Was he a serial killer? or someone she knew? no one knows! No one, except Lin. And even after she returned to haunt her house, she doesn't talk about it.
